Our Story

Surprise! We bought a cottage! The pandemic of 2020 opened the door to the idea of owning an investment property. Even though these times were uncertain, one thing was for sure; the race for “secluded” living was on! With many selling their homes in the city to move to the safety of country living, it was evident that it would be a challenge to beat the competition. The pace was frantic as we dragged our realtor all over cottage country to view homes in places we had never heard of! From Plevna to Pakenham, the bids were steep and the dream seemed bleak, until our eyes landed on a quaint little home in Lanark. We crossed our fingers and made an offer that gave us the win! The name of our cottage is “Clyde’s Cove,” as it is surrounded by the Clyde River. It is a little piece of heaven that we share with those who appreciate the beauty of nature, and the peace of a sanctuary.
